Unmatched combination of sinfully delicious and creative dishes, seemingly limitless wine selections (with several tremendous choices only found here) and a focus on the details is what separates this restaurant from most others. This perfect balance has produced many memorable evenings with loved-ones and business associates alike. My favorite, the wine dinners are not-to-be missed.

Pretentious and overpriced. Food is average

Meh. Stage Left is a legend in its own mind. I think it is over-rated and that there are now better restaurants in New Brunswick in this class. However... the burger here might be the best in town and it is pleasant to sit outside in the summer and chomp on one. When I want to make an evening of my dinner I head over to Daryl's or Due Mari.

Dinner should not be 4.25 hrs. We 4 ladies had many waiters. Felt ignored for larger parties. 2 ordered Tasting Menu.Way too much time btw courses. With normal 7course pacing, we should have been told bec.2 who ordered from reg.menu sat idly more than an hour btw appetizer&entree. Too much fanfare switching-out silverware to pt.of distraction..w/mistakes. Waiter uncorked wine&took large 1/3 glass sip behind back of us- he gets free wine all nite!

I was extremely disappointed. I heard great things about Stage Left, but I found my experience to be far from great. Both our meals were not cooked as requested. I asked for medium-rare for my steak and I received it well-done. I was not impressed with the presentation of the food either. I did not enjoy the atmosphere nor the decor. I heard that the bar is much better and I am contemplating on going back to see how that turns out.
