From the statue of Sam Houston in front to the paintings and flags on the inside, at least one visit is a must for any Texas history fan. Food was above average with good variety; service was slightly below but not terrible. Definitely worth a try.
This restaurant has been opened for maybe 2 years. The food is fantastic, however everything is a-la-carte. The desserts are to die for and as in Texas fashion they are huge. The decor is a history lesson. There are flags and pictures giving a description about Sam Houston and his life here in Texas. The service is as any great restaurant should be. The wait staff are tentative to all of the customers needs and demands.
