A very tasty, tiny little South City Italian spot with great food at surprisingly low prices. Due to the small size & lack of reservations, you may wind up waiting a bit for a table at the small bar area, but the food and prices make this a hot little spot on Watson. Nearby Trattoria Marcella and LoRusso's offer more pasta choices--but this more causal "Cafe" is just the right speed for some nights. Server was superb. Menu is limited, but good.

Forget 'The Hill', it's Stellina for Italian! This tiny treasure makes amazing pasta and uses it effectively in their creative locally-sourced menu. It's regional Italian fare. Great winelist & fun cocktails. The menu changes with the seasons so you will never be bored. You can buy some fresh pasta to cook at home. Laid back, friendly Italian style restaurant serves up delicious home-made meals. The menu is smallish, and the service could use a little more zip, but the food is excellent. Try the Hummus, Za, or freshly made Tagliatelle!
