Easily on of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
This is one of the few "Top Chef" worthy places in the state. Period. Just 45 minutes from Hartford, it's worlds away tucked in the scenic Northeast corridor. And well worth the drive. Each entree is prepared three ways and shows intense preparation. Don't miss the beef carpaccio "dumplings" which melt in your mouth.
Delightfully wonderful dining experience! Fresh ingredients and an even fresher approach to cooking. This meal was worthy of savoring each bite slowly. The chef causes one to be awakened to flavors previously unnoticed. Each entree was presented in 3 variations on the plate, each of which gave a surprisingly different taste experience. The plates were a pleasure to the eye. Service was quietly competent and appropriately attentive. Go!
Beautiful location, charming restaurant. very friendly service. Deserves it's accolades
THE best restaurant in Connecticut, if you can find your way there, it's the treat of a lifetime; locally grown ingredients and a great menu make this the place to celebrate life.
