Did not live up to expectations. Our waitress was like a chicken with its head cut off. We rarely saw her, waited roughly 25 min after being seated before we even got asked for drink orders. Apps came out quickly, but then had about a 35 min wait for the entrees. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. To put it simply, we have not been back, and really have no interest in returning, especially with places like Match nearby.
One of my fav rest in sono. Love the roasted chicken diavolo and branzino great wine list too
For the purposes of disclosure, I'll start by saying I was only here for lunch. Had the chopped chicken livers and the lamb sandwich. The livers were well made and the lamb in the sandwich was tender. All the food was overall well-prepared. Saw the pizzas; not sure if they would compete with Stanziatos in Danbury. The restaurant was extremely cramped with almost no room for the polite if not overly professional staff to navigate. Decent, especially for Italian, but hardly seemed spectacular. May return at another date if for some reason I don't find myself going to Match instead.
My favorite restaurant in CT! Friendly service, unpretentious and excellent Italian. Fresh. Feels like farm to table, local and seasonal. Always take friends here. Great wine list and a welcome place even after 9pm, when CT shuts down.
Ostensibly a pizza place, but in actuality, one of the best restaurants in SONO. Also one of the last left standing after CRASH08, because of a friendly, helpful but overworked staff, great personable Chef, superb wine list, excellent front of the house and consistent delivery visit after visit after visit. Saturday night is probably to be avoided, because then Strada is 4 deep at the bar and truly becomes New York, which saves the 55 minute trip
