Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Pulled chicken was excellent and the sides are hard to pick from-- they all sound so tasty. Lunch prices are good but you'll have to return for dinner to get their corn bread. Weird chairs at the high tops detract from the overall experience slightly.

some of the best BBQ I've had. prob the best in boston. fun sauces lets you choose your style. love the idea of the trays with one hot and one cold side. but the sides could use a little work. collard greens were good. but chopped chunky cole slaw was tough and tasteless. black eyed peas too salty. and carrot salad was a good idea but didn't pack enough flavor. that said, meat was amazing, cocktails were great, even the rosé on tap was very good

On a recent visit to Boston a local introduced me and everything was delightful - I had chopped beef brisket w/ cole slaw on Texas toast and side of mac & cheese. I also tasted the collard greens and black-eyed peas. Everything was delicious. They don't typically serve their famous biscuits until dinner (after 5 pm) but I was fortunate to get one in the late afternoon and it was singularly worth the trip! The "Sweet" Tea is Yankee-style tea!!!

Faison is deservedly the Queen of Boston BBQ: best biscuit north of Hominy Grill; excellent "farm salad" w/greens, nuts, grapes; yummy broccoli-cheese casserole (maybe too rich in context); pulled pork/brisket, thankfully not Boston dry, is flavorful BUT unfortunately too chunk-fatty; the mildest sauce was too mild; bread nondescript; butterscotch pudding delicious but trendy salt on top unneeded; microbrew Grey Lady beer from Nantucket was good.

Could be the best Q in Boston. Do NOT miss the pork belly. Broccolli and cheeze casserole and slaw were both perfect sides. As it is Texas Q it is dry rubbed and then you can add either of the 3 home made sauces at the table.
Service was friendly and the vibe at the communal table was great.
This place will be jumping prior to Sox games next summer. We will be back sooner than that!
