My wife and I decided to visit the best rated italian restaurants in Connecticut as ZAGAT website. We ordered two appetizers it was fair good but unfortunately our main courses were delayed for long time with no reason, for food taste it was oily and cold. The service was so bad and I was very disappointed from everything!! I recommend people to look for another real italian food restaurant.

We came here after walking out of one of the newer Italian places in Westport who told us they couldn't seat my family of five even though the place and parking lot were half empty. Our third experience in a row being treated rudely from the same place. Do yourself a favor and leave the celebrity chef for people who have too much $ and want to be seen, GO TO TABERNA! Its worth the extra few minutes drive, food and service are exponentially better

We had a really nice dinner here. Seafood Risotto, Paella, and Seafood Casserole were all really good. Service was attentive and professional. We will definitely return!

We ate there Friday night and enjoyed it very much. Good atmosphere & service but the food is probably 2 or 3 points lower than rated.
