Don't be confused, while the exterior decor may exude 1950's diner, stepping through the doors, your senses are struck with everything Indian. It is a perfect setting for some of the best Indian Food in all of Connecticut. The Lamb Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan is a personal favorite, although Tandoor's diverse menu offers an array of options from Novice Indian Diner to the More Serious Indian Fan. If you are in New Haven, this is a must dine!

Indian gem in a converted 50s diner on hip Chapel Street. Friendly staff is more than accomodating to the Indian cuisine novice when it comes time to order. First rate fare, though didn't try the spicy stuff. Be sure to try the Tandoori Chicken, a house specialty. Food makes it forgivable that the decor was not fit for a Raj; it really does look like a diner, but this member will be going back soon to try more delights from the sub continent.
