Disappointingly average fare with friendly staff. The menu sorely lacks vegetarian entree options, unless you count cheese as a vegetable. The server explained they can make anything vegetarian (ie: cheese filling). My dinner was honestly comparable to Taco Bell in taste, nutrition & appearance. No dessert menu, but cake and flan are available. The chocolate 'sauce' that was squeeze bottled onto my cake tasted like imitation Hersheys syrup.
The food and service are great. A wonderful experience, but it's really all about the food. A new menu a few weeks ago: huge and creative with both Mexican and Guatemalan dishes. Family owned and it really makes a positive difference. Recently upgraded comfortable, roomy space with a lot of nice touches. I've been there many times in the last year and never had a meal I didn't love.
This place is so good ... it will be packed as the word spreads and they get their liquor license. Off the beaten path for sure, but it's well worth the trip.
