It doesn't feel a Spanish tapas. The deco is so simple.
There are better tapas restaurants in Chicago
The evening was outstanding. I really enjoyed the mejellones a la Mallorquina (black mussels) and the Pincho de Solomillo (beef tenderloin). The staff recommended a excellent rioja and it was a perfect pairing for my meal. The service was very helpful making recommendations and answering any questions that I had. The decor is comfortable. Next time, i'm going for the happy hour specials. If you're in chicago and enjoy tapas, try Tapas Valencia
The tapas are delicious, but eclipsed by the close to perfect paellas. Note that the paella portion are huge, so 1-2 tapas plus a paella is generally enough for a big appetite. The zarzuela de mariscos is really something to try.
The restaurant offers a prix fixe Taste of Spain Sunday brunch at $35 pp that features two cold tapas, two hot tapas, three entrees, and two desserts.
great food and fantastic service. let the staff guide you and enjoy the ride.
