A great addition to the already excellent Fairfield County restaurant scene. If you're a fan of Italian food, Tarry Lodge is a must. We had the Squash Pappardelle. We immediately attempted our own versions of this dish. The pasta was cooked perfectly, our waiter had a perfect recommendation for a wine pairing. The pizzas looked and smelled amazing, but we unfortunately did not get one on our visit. We will certainly be back.

Great menu. Pizza's were excellent - nice selection. My pasta was good. Entrees were not cooked to specifications. We had a great waiter and service seemed fine and we were there with a full house. Very tight seating and very loud atmosphere. First visit - would go back to try more on the menu.

Food is pretty good but you first have to get past the extremely rude hostess and find someone to serve you. After sitting for 15 minutes, we final had to go to the bar to get a drink and were told to sit down and wait for the waiter. Thinking it was just a bad night we went back and had another similar experience...not sure the food is worth sitting through that kind of service.

  • Great decor, but tables are very tight and service slow. Staff didn't wait on us - we had to grind our own black pepper & 1 glass water was your lot! We chose Pumpkin Fiore & Pappardelle Bolognese - tasty but zero presentation & Fiore was swimming in too much butter & tasted of parmesan not pumpkin. Tiramisu and Terrine for dessert were both delicious, although again zero presentation and at $16 each, rather pricey. Disappointed.
