Step back "inn" time for very good food & service offering hearty dishes at reasonable prices. Mon & Tues feature 2-course prix fixe meals for $19. I had one the best cuts of prime rib yet...cooked to perfection. Others specials inc. pork tenderloin or stuffed shrimp. Choice of soup (3 daily) or salad for starters. Visit anytime, but holidays best...w/period decorations inside & a view of tree-lit street from the greenhouse. Nice brunch too.

Dined during a busy weekend & endured a night of horrors. Wasn't able to accommodate a party of 7 comfortably. They asked us to serve each other when they handed us our plates to pass around. Water took 20 minutes to arrive. Requested bread basket to be replenished. After the 3rd or 4th request, they gave it to us! Dinner arrived cold. We left running without looking back.

Great authentic colonial inn. Stick to grilled or roasted items and salads and you will be happy.
