The atmosphere is great and I love going with friends but the food is not so great. I actually think its better at Sierra Grille. The Guacamole is excellent but everything else is just okay.
There are two levels here - one is standard fajita type Tex-Mex fare that most people recognize and the other is a true rich flavored, highly labored to prepare, interior Mexican cuisine (offered as specials). Owner is a graduate of a welll known Mexico City culinary school. Had the Mole Oaxaquena enchaladas last Friday. Would stack up well against anyone, anywhere.

Good neighborhood restaurant but don't expect authentic Mexican food.
A Mexican-American restaurant that draws one back. This is a great venue for after an event or on its own. The food is creative and consistently well-prepared. Service is attentive.
