I would give the food a 1.5: Thiebou Djeun, the national dish, was a somewhat dry stuffed fish, with surprisingly unexciting and bland accompaniments of cassava. cabbage. carrots, cauliflower, eggplant and pumpkin. However, the Mafe, lamb stew, was nicely spiced and delicious.
The Beignets Dougoup, crispy fried millet donut, was a unique and pleasurable relative of the common beignet.
new and different- a lovely evening
Interesting and unusual food.
I loved this place. I was very surprised to see that there were very few people in the restaurant and it had gotten glowing reviews. THe food was delicious. and the portions were large.Excellent!
Very nice neighborhood restaurant. The food was really interesting and well priced. The service here was really slow, so only plan to go if you have a whole evening for your meal. Really one of the more interesting Boston restaurants.
