A Yountville farmhouse surrounded by a "perfectly manicured courtyard" and organic gardens sets the stage for what some deem "the ultimate" meal – Thomas Keller's "four-hour"-long “beautifully plated” French-American tasting menus (available for lunch or dinner) enhanced by “incredible wine pairings” and delivered with a “flourish of attention” by a fleet of suited staff; it's a "once-in-a-lifetime experience" – in part because costs are equally "over the top" and it's "so difficult to get a reservation" – but you "must" go "once at least if you love food"; P.S. closing on Dec. 24 for a renovation.
