Cheese's for the Brooklyn Heights set", this affordable, "family-friendly" eatery/harried parent's oasis is a "cute place to take the kids on a rainy day", given its play space stocked with "tons of toys" and activities like sing-alongs, story time and arts-and-crafts projects, all allowing mom and dad to "relax" and eat at leisure; ok, service is iffy and the burgers and other American basics "rudimentary" at best, but "food's not really the point" here.
