Modern, casual decor in a warehouse-like space with high ceilings and enough wood and material finish to dampen the noise. Music was low enough for conversation! And the food was excellent. Gumbo was authentic. Seared tuna entree was delicate and well seasoned. Black grouper, excellent. Server was attentive and very knowledgeable. Dessert- choc. mousse as light and delicate as I've ever had. My wife loved the Choc ice cream with sea salt.

Oysters were nice, but pricey ($42/doz); condiments disappointing. I liked the cesear, but some will find it heavyhanded. Sole oversalted. Baby bok choy was a bright garlickly side. Like other reviewers we got the "roasted" beets that were really pickled. Knowledgeable waitress was hit and miss. One minute you would get focused attention, then poof. Entrees came long before sides. Said she'd comp the side, but didn't. Limited wine list.

  • Hip, beautiful space, mediocre food. Nice for drinks. At lunch we had the ga shrimp la plancha, lobster roll, tuna nicoise salad & the beignets. Everything was salted, over salted, salted again. Otherwise shrimp seemed like it would've been good. Salad - salt overrun. Tuna fair. Lobster roll - 2/3rds size of a small hot dog roll and not notable. Fries good, bizarrely :) not over salted. Painfully slow to seat noon bookings. Took 20 mins.

  • Very disappointed in the food. for example: She Crab soup did not contain any crab. merely cream and broth. The black grouper low country boil, shrimp. was a baked fillet of grouper (too much seasoning) over mixed veggies and a shrimp. Glazed pork was dry and not memorable. Overall, The printed menu sounded delicious. However, the entrees did not resemble what was described on the menu. Service and ambience was excellent.

  • We had a very nice lunch here however, they were out of lobster, which they claimed is one of their signature dishes. I found this pretty surprising (this was not a late lunch but during prime hours). They also told us they were out of oysters?! The food we were served was quite tasty (the grouper was perfectly prepared) and I loved the atmosphere. You may want to call ahead and make sure they have what they advertise for food though.
