It doesn't "come much more elegant" than this Plaza Hotel American "icon", where a "gracious" staff glides through the "gilded" palm-lined setting to offer the "royal" treatment at breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea; sure, it's a "splurge", but it's "not just for tourists"; P.S. star chef Geoffrey Zakarian has just been named its culinary director.
