Clearly, the best breakfast/brunch spot in New Haven. Weekend lines are often extremely long (no reservations)- proof of its popularity. (Arrive before 9:30 to beat the lines.) Eggs benedict, as well as their several variations on this staple, are perfect, fruit platters are always extremely fresh, and the pancakes are among the best in the state. Jazz decor and music throughout this tiny gem, with postcards from loyal fans lining the walls.
Great little place. Gourmet breasktfast food on a diner plate and budget. Never disappointed with the always fresh fruit and tasty french toast. Be prepared for a worth-it wait on the weekend and don't forget your cash.
