This diminutive East Village hangout boycotts boredom with eclectic digs whose brick walls are complemented by fork-and-spoon wall hangings ,old-timey decorative ceilings and lamp-shaded chandeliers, as well as playful small plates like chocolate pig sliders, General Tso's tofu and ‘quacky tots’ (tater tots cooked in duck crackling); the quirkiness extends even to the moderate bill, which arrives as a bookmark in a well-worn classic novel.
