Just what the financial district needed. delicious innovative food. I'm still dreaming of the braised beef sandwich I had for lunch. Choose between comfort food and edgy soups and salads. Great menu variety. Great place to people watch.
Good for the somewhat formal business lunch or dinner. Tomato soup with curry yogurt was interesting; flatbreads are pretty good. Good value.
Food was terrific- grilled octopus, eggplant small plate, chicken meatballs, mushroom fig flatbread- all full- flavored. Dessert awesome. Service, however, was lacking. Waiter was unresponsive to negative feedback about the wine and generally inattentive. The noise, as mentioned by many, is loud and unaffected by the minimal window treatments. And, please (!) provide the option of black napkins in place of linty rustic ones. We'll try again.
I was in absolute heaven when I tried the fried dough prosciutto & the burrata appetizers. So delicious!!! Service could be taken up a notch behind the bar (a bit slow) but otherwise it was fantastic.
Its definitely a scene to be seen in. Food is innovative and fresh. Drinks are delicious. Some foods deserve full cooking, but that may have been a first week kink. My liver appetizer was barely cooked, and the grilled lobster had fantastic flavors but al dente consistency. Flatbreads are fresh.
