Classic Italian dishes with a seafood flare. Not going to win any awards for innovative cooking, but the Italian staples are done very well. The space is loud and hectic, and the service is pretty rough around the edges.
Killer lasagna
Excellent veal saltimbocca. Solid Caesar salad. Friendly service. Wonderful intimate and warm dining room.
Had dinner here two nights in a row while in Boston. The first night everything was amazing and the waitress was wonderful. The second night was the Sunday that Irene hit. This was one of the few restaurants open and they seemed a bit overwhelmed! Still pretty good considering the circumstances.
I was very pleased with this restaurant. The food was really good, everyone at the table was happy. I had the Putenesca, it could have used more capers (I just love 'em) but the sauce was great! I found the server to be attentive but not looming. I prefer not to be coddled at dinner. Some might squak at this kind of service, but I like it!! Go while you can still sit outside!!
