pictures & more here: http://molltk3.blogspot.com/2013/01/brunch-at-tremont-647.html Located in the South End, Tremont 647 serves up a fun pajama brunch on both days of the weekend, along with $2 taco Tuesdays, oh right...and dinner every other night of the week! Casual, inexpensive, relaxed, and super friendly, Tremont 647 is definitely a place I will return.
Went for Taco Tuesday, had a delicious selection of tacos and a great time. Try the ghost chili cream sauce, so unique. Guacamole and margaritas are highly recommended.
Ate there twice on a recent visit to Boston - it was that good! The wait staff are extremely friendly and the food is very imaginative - tried the lamb tenderloin with a corn and feta salad - yum! Brunch on Sunday is fun - waiters in pj's - try their take on eggs benedict - the best I've ever had. Great cocktails as well. The place is a bit noisy but the food and service more than compensate - fun to watch the activity in the open kitchen.
My wife and I had a truly delicious meal there the other night. We out very regularly and this was one of the more memorable meals we've had recently. The food was just simply delicious, bursting with flavor, creative and surprisingly affordable. Its a very cozy atmosphere, the outdoor seating is wonderful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We recommend it highly and will be back soon.
Tremont 647 has been serving pretty decent food in the South End for ages. You'll never be disappointed. Great lobster mac 'n' cheese. Definitely a gay-friendly spot.
