I'm not sure this place can make it without lowering cost or making the food better (the former seems like the easier route). Out of 6 dishes, most were good but none qualifies as "very good." More effort is spent on presentation than flavor development. Currently the quality does not justify the cost. Service was particularly slow on a not-too-busy night as well, and the waiter left allergens on plates after being informed of the allergy.
Moderately good food in minuscule portions. Noise is intolerable. It is impossible to have a conversation with one's dining companion. Hard surfaces everywhere, including the seats!
fantastic food. small portions so do a 3-4 course meal if you are very hungry. Deconstrutive plating. very creative creations. vibrant atmosphere that is pretty loud. great drinks. wonderfully attentive service. It's expensive but well worth the treat.
