What a disappointment. The move to the new location really reduces the visibility compared to the old corner spot - I walked right by it. The new menu is run-of-the-mill ItalAm, undistinguished from all of the other red sauce joints on Mulberry. The original Umberto's had that unique spin on seafood that really set it apart, but no longer.
Love the traditional tomato sauce. Even get it to go.
The lasagna I ordered here was room temperature in the middle. There are too many good Italian joints in town to mull over a place that isn't even the original location where that guy got blown away while eating a mouthful of clam linguine.
Thought the service could have been a little more attentive
one of the only reasons to go down to Little Italy, well worth the trip, just like u remembered it to be
