Went during Restaurant Week. I had salmon, which was very good. My friend and I both had appetizers of buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil and were thoroughly disappointed. The tomatoes and mozzarella were barely supermarket-quality. Overall, I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay their regular prices if this food was typical.
I've been to this restaurant twice and both times have been exteremly dissapointed with the food. The first time I went with my girlfriend and we both ordered the filet mignon cooked medium. When it came her's was rare while mine was beyond well done. There was not a single bit of color in the center of the filet. Similar experience the second time with a group of friends. All steaks were at wrong temps
sorry but if the rating would be limited to the steak house, it would be the best in the all Americas, including Argentina or anywhere.
Only the "David Crocket" in Santo Domingo should compete.
I have had diner here many times when traveling to Boston on business and find food and service consistently very good. Dining room's whether upstairs or downstairs are rustic and handsome. Wine selection is ample. The seafood and beef selections are varied yet simply and tastefully prepared.
They seemed a tad upset when I pointed out a mouse racing around the dining room.
