This upscale american bistro is an outstanding place to grab a relaxing dinner. Atmosphere is chic and intimate, but relaxed and not too formal. Service was outstanding, needs met, drinks made to perfection and great recommendations (you could tell the server knew the menu as wasn't afraid to offer guidance). Entrees were rustic and flavorful, but lacked the bravado (and price) you would see at a world class eatery.
Nice menu. They're aspiring to be a great big city restaurant and fall short. My husband's gazpacho had a scoop of sorbet floating in the middle, which was fine until he found a large, sharp piece of plastic inside! When we told the waiter, he said it was due to the "mis en place" way they prepared it! I don't think Julia Child would agree! They apologized at the end of the meal and took two restaurant week meals off the tab.
Excellent service, fun atmosphere and very good food. Highly recommend.
Food was good, but a bit underseasoned.
delicious french toast!
