  • Saturday Oct. 2, 2010 7:00 PM reservation for four. We seated at 7:03, and received our main courses at 8:38PM. If patience is your virtue and slapdash shoot-from-the-lip service doesn't bother you then you may have found Utopia. Food was not unpleasant, but prices are audacious. Utopia do not believe in hosting the front door, and apparently are still seeking to fill the position of manager. We were never able to express our disappointments and frustration to anyone other than the embarrassed apologetic waiter, whose "any minute now" promises to bring our food grew very long in the tooth. Not a restaurant I would return to nor would I recommend. Long Beach has far too many outstanding dinning establishments to subject anyone to this shoddily run affair.?

    I was staying across the street and decided to check it out based on the member reviews. the food was very good. I had lamb chops that were cooked perfectly. Service was very good and I was able to buy a half bottle of a very nice Alexander Valley Zin at a reasonable price.I definitely recommend Utopia and think that Zagat should be adding it to their rated restaurants in Long Beach

  • i've been going to this restaurant for 5 years and overall it is very good, food wise. the service over the years could be more polished if you ask me. i am never dissapionted by anything on the menu. it is a pleasant upscale small place to take friends to locally and would recommend to others. zamir your host is most gracious and lowkey. a plain good consistant restaurant. it is in the art district of long beach an interesting place on its own

  • I like this place. Its different. Its unique. The food is good. Last time i was there i had a pealla it had good flavor and variety. The wine list is short but affective. Service is ok, They could be there more but it doesnt ruin the night. Ill go back. Theres just something about it.

    Charming local restaurant with an ecclectic menu and relaibly good food. Piano bar ambiance is a definite plus.
