Can you say overrated? Still very good, but it can't compare to places like Bacchanalia or Aria.
Still a nice atmosphere, and generally good wait staff, good drinks. But we haven't been as happy with the food over the past six months. Had a mushroom pasta one evening with grit in the mushrooms. Other dishes have been less flavorful than I remember them.
Had read and heard the great reviews and wanted to finally put Valenza to the test. It passed with flying colors! The food was impeccable. The Parpadelle Bolognese was fantastic and the Butternut Squash Ravioli was even better. The service was perfect and Chef Matt's personal attention made for a special evening. One of the best meals I've had in Atlanta in the last 20 years.
It appears to me that Valenza's dishes ain't outstanding or impressive. A decent one still.
Wow, what a find. I mean do not miss this jewel. Our waiter josh was 100% top notch. We went with his recommendations, they have wine for every budget, and no budget.Food is an art. What impressed me the most was fast service and prep time.No way premade this place deserves higher than 28.
Wine and entrees and very reasonable. Wee bit chilly for patio dining so we sat inside.Patio was beautiful. Need a great meal and fair prices go go go !!!!!!!!
