Old-school cafeteria. Homemade goods from people that have been putting it out for over 70 years. One of Obama's favorite breakfast spots. Can't go wrong with any breakfast choices or the daily specials!

Hyde Park institution, hang out with politicians, locals, police, U of Chicago students. Yes, there is an Obama special! Food is of cafeteria variety and the price is right!

What a bang for your buck. I love the homey cafeteria style food that's cheap and excellent here. I love the snarky cooks and the smiling cashiers. I love the Sunday crowd that strolls in wearing towering hats and pimp suits. I love the complete lack of pretension. This is a neighborhood standby that's here to stay.
