Food is decent and the concept works if you find yourself group dining a lot and screwed over by your friends' math skills when the bill comes. However, it sometimes also sucks to wait in line to order your food and have people arriving back at the table and eating at different times.

If you like to eat in cafeteria style restaurants, this is your place. It certainly isn't mine. You have to wait in line for some time (10 mins if you're lucky), I waited 20. Then you arrive at a server, who I felt was not friendly at all, and she or he proceeds to cook your order in front of you. There are many different stations, but I feel like the waiting time (while standing!) is not worth it, and the food was not that good either.

I like Vapiano's concept a lot: you can select from a variety of handmade pizzas and custom pastas and order them in a counter-style setting. For me, as a big pasta fan, it was nice to be able to select from a variety of pastas and sauces. Unfortunately, I felt that the execution of a good idea was mediocre at best. The portion was large, but the sauce was flavorless.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's a different concept than most Bostonians are used to, but a fun change of pace. Much, much better food than a typical fast food restaurant and much faster than a typical sit down restaurant. A welcome addition to the dining spectrum here.

I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere of this unique cafeteria style restaurant. There are many options of food such as paninis, soups, pasta dishes, pizzas, and many more italian options. Because of the made to order food, some pasta with meat dishes can lack flavor. However, this place is known for its fresh made pastas and colorful, self seated dining room.
