One of my favorite restaurants. I live in MA and think nothing of driving to Torrington to have a relaxing dinner amid the authentic "Little Italy" decor. There is a wide selection of food to choose from including the specials of the day.The pasta is first rate. Home made. Carbonara is my favorite. The Caesar salad for two is a real treat. It's made at your table from scratch. (I am not a meat eater.) Nice wines and well made cocktails.
The restaurant is very dated, as the decor and food reflect a 1950s-60s sensibility. The murals were restored in 1998, but seem to remain true to their 1950s style. The menu offerings are very traditional, but we ordered calamari marinara, which was just adequate; the pasta fagioli was insipid, the scampi on linguine were just good enough. Our server was the highlight of the dinner--promised to make me her own pasta fagioli. Won't go back.

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Food is consistantly good with friendly service. Whenever we are not sure where to go, we end up here.
Yesteryear's traditional Italian restaurant. Tile floors, mural on walls, run by mom and pop.
