The food is fabulous; I've been there twice and both times loved the food and the ambiance, but the service could be a bit better. To make the experience top-notch the servers need to recommend/steer the meal a bit. When I went with a group we ordered WAY too much food - the server should have said something instead of just taking our order. The second time we went, I asked for a beer recommendation and again, the server came up empty.
Great decor, simple. They definitely put an emphasis on the food, which for a restaurant is kind of basic but often forgotten
Takes no reservations; empty at 530 on Tues. Service very good. Tried hamachi crudo (orange puree a neat touch), papas bravas (more like chips but sauce was authentic), fabada (bean stew w/ pork belly), oxtail / piquillo / idiazabal combo (transported me back to Catalunya), and 3 cheeses from 10 US and Euro choices, all winners. Best Sherry collection, mainly Euro wine list hits basics. Different from Mercat but I liked it as much, will return.
Fun lively with pretty good food.
An over-thought, ill-prepared version of spanish food. Menu is good in theory, but food does not deliver on any count.
