I had my mother's 60th birthday party here last night and it was the WORST party I have ever had! I have never in my life being treated like this!
there was not enough food, some of my guests didn't even eat!!! The owner MARCO said that for $48pp + 20% tip and tax , that was the amount of food you get! Not enough for everyone!!!! AwfulPublished November 18, 2012 -

Been coming here for several years. Food is always a notch above other Italian places in the nieghborhood. Very pleasant, lovely selection.

I went to dinner at Vespa last Saturday night for my brother's 60th birthday. There were 5 of us in our party. We sat in the back room, where the atmosphere was most interesting. We were greeted at the table by Marco, who was very pleasant. Our waiter was fabulous. The owner checked in on us several times during the evening. The food was DELICIOUS. I'm so glad we chose Vespa for my brother's dinner. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I have been visiting Vespa for more than 12 years. It is one of our personal favorites. It is an experience for us and not just a restaurant. It feels like a touch of Tuscany in Great Neck. The Zagat description is quite accurate. My only reservation is how the prices have crept up while portion sizes have decreased. So the value is not quite what it used to be.
