I thought this place was great until one of the people in my party had to return her food. Her risotto wasn't cooked all the way and the seafood had an "extra" fishy odor and taste (as though it was old). When she told the waiter not only did he not apologize, he tried to make fun of her for returning it. We reported the waiter's attitude to the manager and she was even worse! I will not be returning here nor would I recommend this place
My wife and I stumbled on Vinoteca di Monica while searching for a place to eat in the North End. I loved the wine list and chose to dine there. Our waiter was from Milan and was great. He was very personable and quite proficient with his all Italian Wine List. Our food was excellent, I had the Rabbit Ragout with Pappardelle and my wife had the pumpkin ravioli. From apps to dessert, our meal couldn't have been better. I would highly recommend.
The whole dining experience was HIGHLY over-rated! Serve was marginal, bread was stale, and food was very disappointing. Don't waste your money on this expensive place.
A bit pricey but consistently good especially the pasta
Terrific. One of the North End's best
