I enjoyed my meal - a salad with clams caught in the water right outside the restaurant. I nursed a plum and pineapple sangria. It was definitely a place for special occasions. I was with a birthday boy; the staff sang happy birthday to two others while we were there.

The finest food in the Stonington/Mystic area. Creative, tantalizing combinations of seasonings; small but good wine list, try any fresh tuna dish, decor is a 2 only if you want to compare to white table cloth type surroundings.

What makes this place fun is the jazz offerings (David Brandom and quartet played the night we were there). The food is fine, if a little ambitious for what it serves up. Also pricey for what you get...

Food is always Excellent. The service attentive. It can cost a bit but it is almost always worth it.
