Food is wonderful and atmosphere terrific. Ate there three times when on the island. Upstairs and downstairs give two unique experiences. Compared to many places on Nantucket the price was more than worth it.
Comfortable, yet elegant. Downstairs is divinely romantic, and upstairs is crisp and hopping. Regardless, the food is the best on the island, bar none.
Two husband and wife teams own, cook, and serve at this warm, romantic jewel of a restaurant. Downstairs, the knowledgeable servers, who are often the owners, guide you through the menu. The food is prepared with passion and care. The ingredients are local and organic whenever possible, but the flavors are out of this world. Wine list is reasonably priced and eclectic. Upstairs, the bartender, Graydon, a Nantucket legend, mixes the best drinks on the island. The bar is both elegant and friendly at the same time.Terrific bar food is available at a lower price. Why are so many chefs eating here?
Exquisite food, beautiful room. Recommended to me by knowledgeable local chef. Bar upstairs is great fun, too. Robert and Jason are producing food that is a step up for the island. I highly recommend it.
