Not as good as I had hoped. A jerusalem artichoke dish was overly sweet and a pork belly a little stringy. Not bad by any means, but I'd probably have a curry instead.
The Gallery has been showing weird but significant art for over a century. The food is contemporary and in no way weird. A great ressource, given the alternatives (as in lack thereof) in the neighborhood.
Wonderful warm welocme here from staff. We were very well looked after. The food is very good but does smack a bit of absent Big Chef. Nice ways with vegetables, and a gorgeous cosy room.
Good pre fixe lunch menu - they have a private dining room for small parties.
