Consistently delicious and well-prepared Asian food. Dishes are large and filled with many fresh spices and ingredients. Szechuan ravioli (dumplings in spicy peanut sauce served hot) are always a good starter. Wok-ginger shrimp and red curries are always satisfying. Duck fajitas (basically Peking duck wrap with fajita-like vegetables) are always great. I could eat here every week!
I recently discovered Wild Ginger in Great Neck, and have been back several times since. The decor is very pleasant and inviting, and the atmosphere cordial. Menu choices are extensive, varied, fairly priced, and beautifully presented. Service is consistently friendly and professional without being obtrusive. This restaurant is definitely a winner, and my personal favorite for Asian cuisine.

Summer rolls could use a flavor boost. I am, however, a big fan of the Udon noodles here as well as the duck dumpling (steamed). Not a band find for a strip mall.
Ceviche and sushi rolls were very good, Sambal was excellent, as were the cocktails. Whole ginger fish was too sweet and overcooked, though, and Vietnamese summer rolls were bland. All in all, worthy of a 23-24, IMO. Decor was very nice, service attentive.
Great food but on weekends can be very noisy especially since the tables are one on top of another.
