Warm and cozy, I especially like to visit Wildfire in teh fall and winter.
I have always enjoyed the ambiance and the cocktails are well-crafted...but let's face it, there is a lot of competition these days and Wildfire is an old standard...
Loved it! The atmosphere was cool, we had great service, and the food was excellent. We ordered the filet and the prime rib. Both unique and delicious, I ate more of the prime rib. We're definitely going back.
Downtown Chicago site is huge, super clubby, and obnoxiously overcrowded and noisy. Service just OK. There are some major pluses: the gluten free menu is huge, the gluten free bread is decent, a good steak will cost you less than $35, and you can find some great deals on the wine list if you look hard enough. My $33 bone in ribeye was very good, not top notch, but very good. As far as Chicago steakhouses go, Wildfire might be the best value.
Good steakhouse, but not quite in the class of the top-tier steak places.
