I bought a voucher which included an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert for 2 people. When we arrived, I learned all the entrée options were meat. The restaurant refused to provide a vegetarian option for the price I had already paid for the voucher. In discussing the matter, the owner (Chef Thierry Charles) became angry, rude, and out of control, including swears in his responses. He even said, “I don’t believe in vegetarianism. I push meat.”
I celebrate my husband 40th birthday here last Saturday with a group of 10. The fondues were delicious and and cooking your own food was a lot of fun. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendation as this was our first time here. The busboy was always on top of our water glass. Great attentive services and atmosphere. The manager was very friendly and sociable which made this a great experience. Thanks.
The food is good, however the service is terrible. They have a manager/head of waitstaff-looking-person who is clueless about the requirements of his job to the point to fight with the customers AND the waitress in front of the customers. They are unresponsive to criticism, ignoring emails and hanging up the phone when hearing about bad reviews. Really, who does that?! Clearly not someone who wants to KEEP a restaurant in the city. Don't bother
Everything about this restaurant is perfection - the owner is charming, the staff is helpful, the food is great, the wine list is extensive, the setting is romantic, and the location is great. Perfection.
Food was not cooked, the fondue pot never heated correctly. Raw chicken isn't romantic and either is congealed cheese. I wouldn't tell my enemies to dine here.
