Wonderful local gem. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the staff is friendly and attentive. Just won Creative Loafing's Best BrewPub and they did not get it wrong. The food is amazing and so is the beer, which is brewed on site, and has great rotating variety, including special casks such as the Woodford Reserve Russian Imperial Stout (one of my favorites). They just opened a Biergarden that seems like a great place for the weekend.
Good food, good beer, good value. Portions are generous and the choices are certain to satisfy carnivores and vegetarians alike. The vegetarian gyro (made with seitan) is worth a try, and the calamari is the best in recent memory. If beer isn't your thing, there are numerous wine and liquor choices available, and the Manhattan is amazing. It can be noisy in the restaurant when dance classes are in session on the first floor.
