This, was the worse sushi I have ever had. They penny pinch everything (ordered a roll, for seaweed out +$0.50 extra). After my wife and I order the food we ended up eating one piece of the sushi each, spit it out, left and went to another restaurant. The food was not edible!!!!! Also the waiter was standing by our table the whole time, less than a foot away. I ended up asking him to give us some room and move away from us.

First off, the old woman that greeted us gibbered in Japanese and gave my boyfriend and myself a nasty look. What a way to greet customers. Seated us in the middle of nowhere... asked for another table.. in return was given a nasty attitude, enough to want to walk out of the restaurant. The food was average. Was not given the basic table side dishes like salads or soybeans. No one came by to refill water. No soy sauce bowls.. Never go again!!!!!!

Best lunch special around. $10 and you walk out stuffed on top notch sushi and Japanese cuisine. Traditional Japanese food served in traditional fashion. Tight quarters.

Still the finest Japanese food on the North Shore. If you want classic, truly Japanese cuisine, Yamaguchi's for you. If you're looking for cream cheese sushi go somewhere else.

Akira Yamaguchi takes tremendous pride in serving the freshest sushi to you at a very reasonable price. All cooked food dishes are excellent.
