Unfortunately, Yellowfins closed in April, 2012 after six years.
Converted from a bar with pub food to a true restaurant with seasonal menus, it has been a joy frequenting this establishment. The martinis are incredible. The seafood is fresh, the steaks are delicious and the Lobster Mac 'n Cheese is the ultimate comfort food. The chef's specials are always worth listening to and ordering. I recommend reservations especially on the weekends. 5 stars.......
If you are looking for a unique dinning experience, look no further . Yellowfins is the place to go. Although specializing in seafood this restaurant offers a variety of interesting appetizers and excellent specials. The Chefs vast experience, their creativity and selections of the freshest ingridents make this restaurant one of the best in Ct. Voted # 1 by the STS Supper Club, a group of food service professionals who dine all over CT and RI.
I like this place for a casual nearby place that offers great food and very contemporary presentations. I almost never order off the menu because they always have such great daily specials like filet mignon over gorgonzola fondue and creole seasoned, grilled veal chop with picked lobster meat and cognac sauce. They also have the best clams casino I have ever had. Good martinis. All around--a very good find.
