I love this place, the menu always has something good on it, and there's always something new to try. The owner/chef has a great rapport with the customers as well as the food.
Really a hidden, scrumptious gem. I think bucktown restaurants cater eclectic food to a diverse audience so I can imagine a Cuban restaurant easily being lost in a culinary gap. Really a shame, though, because this is a deliciously beautiful restaurant that somehow serves a delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner. And Toya knows how to serve up a mean Latte to wash down your complimentary fried plantain!
