Very good sushi, high quality ingredients and finishing touches (i.e., real wasabi, good ginger, sophisticated sake list, etc.). I feel bad because I see they have to cater to the "spicy-tuna-roll" crowd, but they'll also gladly do omakase and more authentic and creative dishes for you. Service is extremely personable and makes the experience even better.
The food is very good. It is a rather small restaurant so I can see it getting very crowded. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive.
Favorite sushi in Dallas. Creative dishes. Chef Yutaka is very pleasant and likeable.
"Decent and dependable, albeit nothing extraordinary, although the fish is fresh"
Really good sushi. Decent sake list. And the sister sake bar next door is great too.
