  • We catered from here for our son's birthday party. The chicken and mushroom dish was very low on chicken (based on years of experience catering from Italien restaurants in Chicago). In fact every tray we ordered was short on meat. I specifically asked to leave out an ingredient for the sake of the kids and this was left in. We were given no serving utensils. The manager's response: What do you want me to do about it?

    Zig Zag is a catering/delivery restaurant as well as a sit down restaurant. So there may be few people in the dining room but the kitchen is busy. Attentive service and generous servings. Very convenient to Victory Gardens Biograph.

  • In short, this place is one of the best value restaurants in the whole city. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. B.Y.O.B and they will even keep them cold for you. All dishes looked great and the chocolate chip cookies at the end of the meal made the night. Don't miss this place.
