Not related to the Calif. franchise & much more than a coffeehouse. Very fresh, innovative cuisine. Tomato bisque with lots of crab was great. Assorted wraps with an Asian or Latino influence. Many vegetarian choices but the dinner menu has 8 substantial entr?es with beef, pork, chicken and several seafood combinations. Attentive service. One question: were does "wild" boar come from to make the distinctive sausage? Is feral wild boar an oxymoron
Great food, I would call new American. Staff is personable and efficient. They don't have an extensive menu but everything my wife and I (as well as friends) have had has been great. Menu is supplemented by specials. Had the duck on special recently and it was wonderful. My wife's favorite off the regular menu is the scallops with black and white fettuccine.
My wife and I have been dining at the Zinc Cafe since Robin and Chris opened the doors. We both love the food and the service is always warm and friendly. Happily, this seems to have made the restaurant the success it has become. To insure prompt seating, make a reservation no matter what day you would like to go there. Unlike a lot of other places, reservations are always seated on time, despite a busy dinner service. Great food and service.
