How to Participate

If you own a Zagat-Rated business and would like to add an e-decal, please follow these 4 steps:

1. Search for your business on ZAGAT.com by using the Find a Restaurant (Nightspot, Hotel or Attraction) search box at the top of the page. Click on the listing for your business.
2. Click Link to This Page located in the right hand column.
3. Follow the link under the Is this your business option.
4. Choose from one of the e-decal options listed.

Questions about the Program

How do I put my Zagat-Rated e-decal on my website?

Follow the instructions listed on your decal page. In many cases, it may be necessary to direct your web designer or webmaster to the decal page.

Can I just copy a Zagat or Zagat-Rated image to my website instead of the e-decal?

No. We ask that you use the code provided in its entirety. Zagat Survey® will update the e-decal as each new guide is published.

Where on my website should I put my Zagat-Rated e-decal?

You can put your Zagat-Rated e-decal anywhere on your website. We recommend adding the e-decal to your homepage for increased visibility or to any page that lists your awards and accolades.

What if I already have a Zagat Survey logo on my website? Should I take it down?

Yes. We request that you remove any old Zagat Survey logos or related images.

Can I put my e-decal on more than one page on my website?

Yes. You can use it on as many pages as you like.

I'm still confused. Can Zagat Survey walk me through adding this to my website?

Since all websites are created differently, we recommend that you contact the company or individuals involved with the maintenance of your particular site. If you have further questions, please contact us at recprog@zagat.com.

How many e-decals can I choose from?

Two or three different e-decal options are currently available. (Number of options depend on the corresponding guide and market.)
