Back in 1992, Tim Zagat and renowned restaurateur Joe Baum conceived of enlisting top Manhattan restaurants to offer $19.92 lunches as a promotion while the Democratic National Convention was in town. NYC's popular Restaurant Week was born. Given the success, cities around the nation gradually started their own versions of the promotion.

Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival

Epcot® kitchens turn up the heat for a global tasting experience worthy of every palate at the 14th annual Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World® Resort. Come taste fine cuisine and wines from some of the top cities of the world including Bologna, Italy; Bangkok, Thailand; Santiago, Chile; Marrakesh, Morocco; Shanghai, China; New Orleans and many more! The six-week event also includes a lineup of renowned chefs, winemakers and speakers who are participating in seminars and other special experiences. Each night features live music from the Eat to the Beat! concert series, including several Grammy-winning artists including Boyz II Men, En Vogue, Sister Hazel, Kool & The Gang, Jon Secada, Taylor Dayne, Richard Marx, Billy Ocean, Taylor Hicks, Los Lobos and more!

Cook Eat Drink Live

Enjoy a taste of the good life! Cook Eat Drink Live is the event to kick off the holiday dining and entertaining season in NYC. Taking place November 6–8 at The Tunnel & La.Venue, this three-day culinary event will feature appearances from NYC's premier chefs, along with a large sampling of ultra-premium gourmet foods and spirits. You can indulge in samples from your favorite Zagat-Rated restaurants and shop for the best gourmet products – including artisanal cheeses, procured meats, award-winning delicacies, chocolates, wines, desserts and more! A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Action Against Hunger.
